Question. I always played battle.net except my last character I made offline SSF on Steam Deck. Does anyone know where that save is, what folders and can I transfer it from Linux to Windows? Yes, that entry needs to be increased to more than 7 bits for the save file to handle values larger than 127. Also, the code seting this value for saving in the save file will cap the value at 99 as well, so that cap need to be removed. But I just can't find my savefiles. I've removed the MedianXL install folder, they weren't there. Save path according to registry is D:\Blizzard\Diablo II\Save\ which contains no folders at all. Tried checking documents, nothing in the D2 folder there, nothing in any savedgames folder. Tried scouring %appdata% and various for hidden folders.

This information isn't relevant to my issue. This article is unclear or poorly written. I have tried the suggested steps but they didn't work. I'm frustrated by Blizzard's process or policy.

For those who are unaware, Diablo II players who still have the original copy of their save game can transfer and import the progress to Diablo II: Resurrected. As stated by Matthew Cederquist, Blizzard’s game producer, players can import their local single-player save files to Resurrected. Yes, keep your old save files.

Click Uninstall a program. Right-click on Battle.net and select Uninstall. This will begin the uninstallation process. Click Start ( Windows Key + Q in Windows 8), and select All Programs. After locating the Battle.net desktop app, right-click the file and select Open File Location. Move one folder up and delete the Battle.net folder.

I read just copy the D3 folder works but that seems too easy. If it matters the new SSD will have a clone or mirror of my OS Windows 10 on it. Thanks again and happy gaming!
